Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Pre-Payment Reimbursement Analyst for its Western Region Consolidated Business Office in Las Vegas. The role analyzes reimbursement trends and oversees pre-payment reconsiderations, including corrections of plan errors and account adjustments.

The candidate should have 2+ years of medical contracts and claims experience, and education at high school level or equivalent. Proficiency in Excel, Word and 10-key data entry is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical payer contracts; explanation of benefits experience preferred.
• Articulate with medical insurance terminology.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking.
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and 10-key data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reimbursement trends and pre-payment reimbursement estimates.
• Coordinate and oversee pre-payment reconsiderations, including correction of insurance plan errors, payment transfers and account adjustments.
