Job summary

New Country Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team of sales representatives at our New Country dealership. You will set goals, coach staff, monitor metrics and ensure excellent customer experiences.

You will manage pre-owned inventory, collaborate across departments and drive growth in sales and gross profit while maintaining a professional, customer-focused culture. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous automotive management experience.
• Ability to lead a diverse sales team.
• Experience with CRM and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of growing sales volume and gross profit.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDK/vAuto experience preferred.
• Minimum two years as Automotive Sales Manager or five years in automotive sales.
• Excellent managerial skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train and direct a team of Automotive Sales Representatives
• Maintain a hard turn of 60 days & determine the best vehicles to stock
• Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity and accountability.
• Accountable for daily performance metrics in sales, appointments and call follow-up
• Support other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the dealership.
• Assists individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals
• Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing at all times
• Manage Pre-Owned inventory in accordance with industry best practices and company standards. Including all pre-owned vehicle appraisals

• CDK/vAuto experience (preferred)
• Minimum of two year experience as an Automotive Sales Manager or five years of experience in automotive sales
• Excellent managerial skills
