Job summary

The Cincinnati Eye Institute in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Admission Testing. You will assess and document patient information, coordinate pre-op paperwork, and support surgical scheduling while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of nursing experience in surgical/ASC/pre/post-op/ICU/Telemetry/Operating Room preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care per standards and policies.
• Perform phone assessment of surgical patients for medical history.
• Evaluate allergies and reconcile with pre-operative eye drops.
• Coordinate with Surgery Schedulers for pre-surgical paperwork.
• Communicate with physicians for pre-operative evaluations.
