Job summary

Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse in Pre-Op to join our Perioperative Services team. This PRN role involves coordinating pre‑operative and post‑operative care in the Pre/Post Unit, with four 10‑hour shifts and on‑call responsibilities.

As an RN, you will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with a dedicated surgical team to ensure safe, efficient outcomes for our community.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active Arizona or Compact RN License.
• BLS required.
• ACLS & PALS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Pre‑Op RN delivers pre‑operative and post‑operative care in the Pre/Post Unit using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).

Education
