USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated PACU Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced ASC environment that emphasizes high-quality care for patients and families.

The RN Pre-op/PACU provides perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and medical plan of care, supporting our mission and collaborating with physicians. Ambulatory surgery center experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state with unrestricted status.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care in Pre-op/PACU.
• Apply nursing process and medical plan of care.
• Support patient- and family-centered care in ASC.

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights, is seeking a motivated PACU Registered Nurse to join our team.Greater Heights Surgery Centeris a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience forpatients and their families.

Job Summary

The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
