Job summary

UW Medical Center-Montlake is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Pre-Surgery Clinic in Seattle. The RN will perform pre-anesthetic assessments and patient teaching, in clinic or by phone, handling 40-60 patients per day.

Requires WA RN license and at least one year ICU/ED or PACU experience; BLS. This role features day variable shifts with no weekend shifts and a focus on safe, compassionate perioperative care.

Qualifications

• WA RN license required.
• One year of recent ICU or ED/ER experience or PACU.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-anesthetic assessment and teaching to patients in clinic or by phone.
• Perform a complete pre-anesthesia evaluation and document findings.
