UW Medical Center – Montlake is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse in the Pre-Anesthesia Department to provide pre-anesthetic assessment and teaching to 40-60 patients per day, either in clinic or by phone, with access to specialty training for a complete pre-anesthesia evaluation.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted WA license
• One year of recent ICU or ED/ER experience or prior PACU, Phase I and Phase 2
• BLS
• L-RN | REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE - WA State or Multistate license

Responsibilities

• Our Pre-Anesthesia Clinic RNs provide pre-anesthetic assessment and teaching to 40-60 patients/day, either in clinic or by phone.
• Nurses receive specialty training to perform a complete pre-anesthesia evaluation.
