Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in an ICU or PICU setting preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control practices is essential.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Requires American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• NIHSS Certification required.
• Basic Arrhythmia Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe and appropriate patient care.
• Provide instruction and direction to subordinate staff.
• Teach and instruct patients and families on healthcare subjects.
• Analyze data to determine healthcare actions.
• Select appropriate medical equipment for care.
