Job summary

Surgery Center of Columbia is seeking a dedicated Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our outpatient facility. The RN will plan, direct, organize, and implement nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients, ensuring safety and quality care in line with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients.
• Ensure highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while complying with standards.
• Care for patients from 1 month to geriatric, across all ages.
• Provide care with weekdays-only schedule, no holidays, weekends, or call; some later evenings.

Education
