Job summary

Surgery Center of Columbia is seeking a skilled Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our outpatient facility. You will plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

The role involves caring for patients aged 1 month to geriatric, with weekdays-only shifts and occasional later evenings. Competitive salary and benefits are offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients.
• Cares for patients from 1 month to geriatric; ensure highest quality and safe delivery of care while complying with standards.
• Weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings may be required.
