Miami Surgical Suites is seeking a RN Pre Op PACU to join our perioperative team in Miami. This full‑time role supports patients from anesthesia emergence through recovery, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy while coordinating with physicians and the surgical team.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited RN degree, active Florida RN license, and BLS/ACLS (PALS if required). PACU/ICU experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills essential for efficient patient

Miami Surgical Suites is hiring a RN Pre Op PACU, full time.

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating the patient's condition to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy. May assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and utilize sterile techniques as appropriate. Will provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
