Surgery Center of Columbia is seeking a skilled Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our outpatient facility. You will plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

The role involves caring for patients aged 1 month to geriatric, with weekdays-only shifts and occasional later evenings. Competitive salary and benefits are offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.

Responsibilities

As a Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations.

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
