Job summary

Aura Health in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across the care continuum in a healing environment. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with a focus on patient and family education and safety.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• PACU, ED or ICU experience is advantageous.

Job description

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and barriers to involvement in care.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years experience preferred.
• Preferred experience in PACU, ED, or ICU is advantageous.
• Strong critical nursing skills, communication, and teamwork abilities.
