Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a PACU nurse to support fast-paced trauma cases and specialized surgeries in a Magnet-designated academic medical center. You will provide traditional PACU and ICU-level recovery, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver high-quality care.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, continued growth, and teamwork within a safety-focused environment. Nursing licensure is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BSN preferred but ADN considered
• Experience in PACU or critical care settings preferred

Responsabilités

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on post-treatment home care and medication administration.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities and professional development.
• Develops and documents care plans with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs and preferences of patients.
