Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health in Kentucky is seeking an Outpatient Pre-Op PACU Nurse to provide safe, compassionate nursing care for surgical patients before and after procedures.

You will perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments, start IVs, educate patients on expectations, monitor recovery in PACU, coordinate discharge, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative teams while upholding evidence-based standards and meticulous EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with PACU/pre-op competency.
• Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in IV insertion, medication administration, and patient education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based protocols and meticulous EHR documentation.
