Job summary

AES Indiana is advancing multiple generation projects to meet data center-driven demand, focusing on a 650 MW CCGT and a second unit. The Pre-NTP Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design development within the Generation Development Team, shaping technical specifications and EPC contracts.

The role offers growth into project engineering management and requires a BS in electrical engineering, 5–10 years of electrical design/construction experience, and strong written and oral communication

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5–10 years of electrical design and/or construction experience.
Experience with large CCGT or fossil-fuel generation projects is preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Safety Leadership in all aspects of the Project.
Develop electrical design for the projects, including review of major electrical equipment and HV/MV/LV systems.
Manage the integration with T&D (Interconnection) departments to ensure alignment with the overall project electrical design.
Develop, review and collaborate with Owner’s Engineers and other SMEs on the electrical design details in the Technical Specifications.
Review of the electrical design for operational consistency and standards within AES Indiana.
