Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a motivated Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney in Birmingham, Alabama. The role focuses on managing pre-litigation claims, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with clients and medical providers.

You will handle intake to settlement, review records, draft demand letters, and prepare cases for litigation if needed. A JD from an accredited law school and Alabama bar membership are required, with 1–3+ years in personal injury preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Alabama and in good standing with the Alabama Bar.
• 1–3+ years of experience in personal injury law, pre-litigation preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of personal injury claims during the pre-litigation phase.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and guidance.
• Review police reports, medical records, and other documentation to evaluate case value.
• Draft demand letters and other legal correspondence.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to ensure fair compensation.
• Coordinate with medical providers regarding client treatment and billing.
• Maintain detailed case notes and documentation in the case management system.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure cases move efficiently.
• Prepare cases for litigation if settlement is not achieved.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
