Job summary

Clarvida seeks a Pre-Licensed Therapist for the Catalyst Program in San Diego County. You will oversee administrative operations, supervise staff, coordinate services, and support recovery-oriented care while maintaining program quality.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, licensure eligibility (AMFT/APCC/ACSW), and 2+ years of mental health experience. On-site full-time position with comprehensive benefits and driving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Registered as AMFT, APCC, or ACSW.
• Minimum two years of experience with mental health clients (inpatient or outpatient).
• Direct clinical and case management experience with rehabilitation philosophy.
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer proficiency.
• Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides crisis intervention consultation and activities related to interventions.
• Provides individual (adult and children), group and family therapy.
• Offers occupational, education, and other information to support educational/vocational plans.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Contributes to program development and staff in-services.
• Attends staff meetings as required.
• Performs administrative functions for the program.
• Provides work-related supportive services and transports clients as needed.
• Conducts counseling interviews to set goals and plan actions.
• Documents in medical records according to policy and regulation.
• Evaluates data to identify causes and refer to specialists as needed.
• Maintains HIPAA, ethics, and professional boundaries.
• Follows up counseling results to assess effectiveness.
• May provide required weekly hours as directed.
• Provides consultation/education to community groups and agencies.
• Links to intensive interventions to mediate crises or trauma.
• Teaches educational classes and provides on-site therapy in schools.
• Meets monthly productivity requirements.
