Job summary

Clarvida in Bakersfield, CA, seeks a Pre-Licensed Therapist to provide individual, group, family and couples counseling. You will help maximize client independence and family empowerment while supporting education and vocational development.

Must be bilingual Spanish and hold a Master’s degree; two years of mental health experience preferred; CA driver’s license. This full-time role offers benefits including paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, medical/dental/vision, daily pay, licensure

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited school.
• Valid CA registration as an Associate MFT, APCC or ASW.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with mental health patients (inpatient/outpatient).
• Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance.

About Your Role

We are seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist for our Bakersfield program. As a Pre-Licensed Therapist, you will work to ensure mental health treatment services are provided in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment. Providing individual, group, family and couples counseling services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, education and vocational development and adjustment. Sign on bonus. Must be bilingual Spanish. Sign on bonus.

Does the following apply to you?

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited school
• Valid Registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and outpatient)
• Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance
