Job summary

Clarvida in Lancaster, CA is seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist to provide outpatient mental health services to children and youth up to age 20, with telehealth options and supervision to support licensure.

You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver individual, group, and family therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a trauma‑informed, culturally humble framework. Full‑time on‑site role with Mon–Fri day shifts in Lancaster.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related).
• Must be pursuing licensure with eligible supervised clinical hours.
• Experience or training in evidenced-based practices (TF-CBT, PCIT, FFT) is a plus.

About your Role:

We are seeking a Pre‑Licensed Therapist for our Lancaster program. As a Pre‑Licensed Therapist, you will work to ensure mental health treatment services are provided in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment. Providing individual, group, family and couples counseling services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, education and vocational development and adjustment. Population are children with some over 18 years of age.

Pre‑licensed therapist position for individuals with a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related fields who are currently pursuing licensure, offering paid clinical experience and supervision.

This position allows clinicians to gain supervised clinical hours required for licensure while providing mental health services to clients in outpatient, telehealth, or community settings.

Providing direct clinical care to clients between the ages of 0‑20. We strongly emphasize trauma‑informed care, cultural humility, and affirming, dynamic, and holistic care for clients. We routinely collaborate with other professionals, specialists, and communities.

Qualified candidates may have experience or will receive training in evidenced‑based practices including TF‑CBT, PCIT, and FFT.

Does the following apply to you?

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited school
• Valid Registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and outpatient)
• Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance
