Job summary

Clarvida in Taft, California is seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist to deliver individual and group counseling, promoting client independence and family empowerment. The role supports clients across personal, social, educational, and vocational development and requires collaboration with the care team.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in a related field, CA AMFT/APCC/ACSW registration, and at least 2 years of mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid registration as AMFT/APCC/ACSW
• Minimum of two years of experience with mental health patients (inpatient/outpatient)
• Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Basic to intermediate computer skills

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
• Valid registration as Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and/or outpatient)
• Valid California driver’s license and active auto insurance
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
