Job summary

Clarvida seeks a Pre-Licensed Therapist for our Bakersfield program. As a Pre-Licensed Therapist, you will provide individual, group, family and couples counseling to help clients improve independence, social development and vocational outcomes.

You will empower families and support client success on-site in Bakersfield, CA. This role requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field, CA registration as an associate, and at least two years of mental health

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited school
• Valid Registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and outpatient)
• Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, family and couples counseling services.
• Support clients to improve personal, social, educational and vocational development.
• Work to ensure mental health treatment services maximize client independence.

About your Role:

We are seeking a Pre‑Licensed Therapist for our Bakersfield program. As a Pre‑Licensed Therapist, you will work to ensure mental health treatment services are provided in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment. Providing individual, group, family and couples counseling services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, education and vocational development and adjustment. Sign on bonus. Must be bilingual Spanish. Sign on bonus.
