Job summary

InStride Health in Massachusetts offers a remote Pre-Licensed Therapist role focused on family-centered, evidence-based care for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults. This is a fully remote position enabling you to join a mission-driven team delivering CBT, ACT, and related therapies with measurement-based care.

Qualified candidates have provisional licenses or a PhD/PsyD, graduate internship, and experience with youth anxiety.

Qualifications

• Provisional / Associate licensure with appropriate designation and a relevant master's degree.
• Provisional / Associate Social Work License & Masters Degree.
• Provisional / Associate Counseling License & Masters Degree.
• OR Pre-Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. or PsyD in psychology.
• Graduate-level clinical internship with therapy training required.
• Background with children/adolescents with anxiety or related disorders preferred.
• Experience with evidence-based treatments (CBT, ACT, DBT) preferred.
• Basic computer skills and openness to new technologies.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible, work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Culturally responsive with regard to diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a virtual Pre-Licensed Therapist to join our team to deliver family‑centric and evidence‑based care to Children, Adolescents, & Young Adults. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based individual and group clinical care to patients and families.
• Use measurement‑based care to inform treatment planning.
• Lead and collaborate with other care team members (e.g., coach and psychiatrist).
• Provide feedback on program curricula and training protocols.
• Provide feedback regarding the various applications of technology in treatment.
• Maintain awareness of risk management issues.
• Complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
• Participate in initial and ongoing trainings on the application of evidence-based and tech‑enhanced care delivery.
• Facilitate skills or skills practice groups, as assigned. These CBT‑based groups are for parents/caregivers and focus on skills development and implementation based on the InStride Health curriculum, integrating aspects of ACT and PMT.

What You Need to Succeed in the Role

• Provisional / Associate licensure with one of two designations:
• Provisional / Associate Social Work License & Masters Degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
• Provisional / Associate Counseling License & Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program.
• OR Pre-Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. or PsyD. in psychology from an accredited school of psychology.
• Graduate‑level clinical internship with therapy training required.
• Background in working with children and adolescents, with anxiety and related disorders, or preferably both.
• Experience and training in delivering evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT) preferred.
• Basic computer skills, facility with and openness to new technologies.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible and nimble, embrace change, and work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, mission driven environment.
• Culturally responsive with regard to diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a manner that inspires confidence and trust.

The starting salary for this role starts at $70,000. Compensation increases will take place upon acquiring full independent licensure.
