Pre-Licensed Benefit Advisor - Work From Home (Multiple Locations) | 2025

This job involves assisting Medicare-eligible participants across the country via phone, helping them select suitable insurance plans. Pre-licensed Benefit Advisors will start at $18/hr, with significant incentives during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period. The role is full-time and temporary, with potential for year-round employment based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Participating in and passing a state’s Life and Health Insurance license exam.
  2. Completing certifications to represent insurance carriers.
  3. Using a consultative sales approach to assess insurance needs.
  4. Conducting eligibility and needs analysis.
  5. Communicating plan options empathetically over the phone.
  6. Making tailored plan recommendations.
  7. Maintaining professionalism and patience.
  8. Participating in outbound campaigns and team activities.

Qualifications: Patience, strong computer skills, self-motivation, excellent communication, ability to adapt communication style, and a high school diploma or GED. Experience in needs-based sales and insurance certification are pluses.

Training Requirements: Paid 4-week exam prep, passing the licensing exam is mandatory, followed by virtual training and nesting.

Work from Home Equipment & Setup: Equipment provided; a dedicated workspace, reliable internet (min 10 MB/s upload, 100 MB/s download), wired Ethernet, and a smartphone are required. Applicants must work during assigned shifts.
