Job summary

LEARN Charter School Network seeks a dedicated Pre‑K Teacher for its South Chicago campus. You will provide high‑quality instruction daily in a supportive, community‑based classroom and build lasting relationships with families and staff.

The ideal candidate holds an Early Childhood Education degree with ISBE certification and Birth‑3rd Grade endorsement, and is committed to LEARN’s MTSS approach and high expectations for all scholars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education and you have an Illinois State Board of Education Teaching Certificate (PEL or ELS APE) and Birth - 3rd Grade Endorsement or a Gateway level 5.
• Have a demonstrated track record of delivering gains in student academic achievement
• Have a demonstrated record of living LEARN's Core Values
• Highly Qualified according to ISBE

Responsibilities

• Effectively implementing instructional programs and strategic interventions that drive results
• Demonstrating effective classroom management skills that contribute to a positive learning environment
