Responsibilities

• Develops and administers school elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Promotes safe, individualized and small-group instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and materials and translates plans into learning experiences.
• Assesses student learning and adjusts instruction to meet needs, including students with special needs.
• Communicates progress and expectations to students, parents, and administration.
• Maintains records of student activities, grades, and attendance.
• Supervises students on school grounds and during activities.
