Job summary

American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for a part-time Pre-K Aide at Vistancia Elementary in Peoria, AZ for the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates must have a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card and current immunizations.

Responsibilities include assisting the lead teacher with lesson planning, reinforcing concepts, maintaining an orderly classroom, and communicating progress to parents. Must hold CPR/First Aid, food handler’s card, and meet vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Current immunizations & TB test are required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• Food handler’s card is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and implementation.
• Reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance as needed.
• Help maintain a positive and orderly environment.
• Assist with administering tests and grading assignments as directed.
• Observe and report student progress, behavior, and engagement.
• Support communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress.
• Help keep the classroom clean and organized, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available.
• Encourage student participation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
