Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, summer camp, and after-school programs. Our locations span a nationwide footprint and diverse pedagogical approaches, including proprietary methods inspired by Dewey, Piaget, and Vygotsky; Montessori schools (both AMI and AMS); and language immersion programs in Mandarin and Spanish.

Summary

As a Pre-K Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, you will create, manage, and participate in various learning environments and activities that support children’s development and learning objectives. Collaborate with colleagues to promote the well-being of the school and its community.

Details

Location: 1000 Manor Drive, Chalfont, PA

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Student Age Range: Pre-K (4 to 5 years old)

Pay Range: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on education and experience

Responsibilities

• Culture: Promote excellence, maintain quality education programs, and ensure curriculum implementation.
• Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, environment compliant with regulations and policies.
• Educate, Inspire, Engage: Develop a nurturing, inclusive classroom that fosters lifelong learning.
• Relationship Building: Collaborate with staff and build strong relationships with families and the community.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally.
• Valid credentials and ability to pass background checks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with children.
• Educational requirements vary: Bachelor’s with 30 credit hours in relevant fields, or Associate’s with 30 credit hours and experience, or high school diploma with experience.
