Salary Range From $18.24 to $22.70 per hour

This position is contingent on the availability of specific Grant funding and may/will be subject to non-renewal following the 2026-2027 school year based on the unavailability or uncertainty of Grant funding.

All building principals have access to this job posting and will call selected candidates for interviews. Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific positions.

What You Do: The CLIMBS b-5 grant refers to the Legendary Learners component of North Dakota's ND CLIMBS (Comprehensive Literacy Improvement through Measured Building Systems) grant, which focuses on early childhood school readiness and literacy coordination for children from birth through age 5. A Pre-K Para provides support and may deliver direct services to students under the direction of a certified teacher or other licensed employee. This classification is generally assigned to work with individuals or small groups of students.

What You Need: High School Diploma or GED
Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians orally and in writing
Basic academic and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working or volunteering in a school setting
Experience working with individualized education plans (IEPs)
Associatesdegree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a similar field
Experience working as direct support professional, personal care aid, CNA, or similar position
