Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state funded educational program for all age eligible 4-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing, and instructing 4-year-olds, based on the needs of each child and the requirements of the program.
