Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will include:

• Planning, supervising, and implementing a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicating regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

Qualifications

To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School, you must meet one of the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in relevant fields and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in relevant fields and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in relevant fields and 3 years of experience with children.
