Job summary

Growing Room Child Development Centers seeks a Pre-K Extended Assistant Teacher to educate and nurture young learners in our Columbus, GA locations. You will support Pre-K activities, help supervise children, and assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 10am–6:30pm, with opportunities for growth within our internal promotion culture. A high school diploma and passion for early childhood education are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work with young children and follow guidance.
• Excellent communication with parents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and care to Pre-K children during Pre-K Extended.
• Work with other age groups to cover lunch breaks before afternoon sessions.
• Implement age-appropriate curriculum for children.
• Follow state childcare licensing regulations.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and coworkers.
• Help children develop self-help skills.
