Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Use flexible instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learners.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional materials and equipment.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Supervise and guide teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
• Incorporate technology to strengthen teaching and learning processes.
• Establish communication with parents and staff to support student growth.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, students, and community.
