Job summary

Candidates should have Maine Ed Tech credentials and CHRC clearance, experience with early childhood standards, and strong communication with families, including multilingual families.

Qualifications

• Experience with early childhood curriculum and developmentally appropriate practice.
• Knowledge of Maine Early Learning Development Standards and Pre-K for ME curricula.
• Ability to support classroom management and build a positive learning environment.
• Equity‑oriented instruction and experience with multilingual families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pre‑K teacher and support student readiness.
• Attend building‑wide and Pre‑K team staff meetings and PD as required.
• Report to building administrators and contribute to PPS community.
• Support a classroom that includes students with identified special needs.
