Responsibilities

• Distributes and collects workbooks and other materials for instruction.
• Corrects tests and quizzes and records grades.
• Collects and records money.
• Reads to students and listens to them read aloud.
• Helps students master equipment or instructional material.
• Keeps classroom displays up to date.
• Operates classroom equipment for instructional purposes.
• Assists students in the library or media center.
• Supervises students during lunch, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
