Job summary

True Cross Catholic School Dickinson, TX, is seeking a caring PK Teacher's Aide to join our faith-filled community. The aide will support the lead teacher, help with daily routines, and foster a classroom environment rooted in faith and virtue.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, experience with young children, and a willingness to grow within the Catholic classical educational mission. Archdiocesan Safe Environment compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with preschool/young children preferred.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a teaching team.
• Must meet Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom routines and activities.
• Foster a classroom environment rooted in faith, virtue, respect, and joy.
• Assist students with academic, social, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Help prepare classroom materials, learning centers, and instructional resources.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions.
• Reinforce positive behavior and classroom expectations with consistency and charity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and culture of the school.
• Serve as a joyful witness to the Catholic faith through words and actions.
