Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Pre-K Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Programs at Elsa nboro Township School in Salem, NJ for the 2026–2027 school year. Morning 7:00–9:00, afternoon 2:45–5:45, with opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Location is on-site at Elsinboro Township School. The role is part-time, non-exempt, with employer-paid childcare and a suite of voluntary benefits. Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
• 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience
• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.

• Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids
• Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day
• Inventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
