Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Pre-K Lead Teacher for the Before and After School Programs at DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY for the 2026–2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar with a split schedule: morning 7:00–8:45 am and afternoon 2:10–6:00 pm.

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs. The position is part-time, non-exempt, with employer-paid childcare benefits and various health and retirement perks.

• Requires health clearance (TB screening) per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidates Must Meet One Of The Following

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field.
• Child Development Associate Credential or another Office‑recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience).
• 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or other Office recognized credential (with 2 years of experience).

Qualifications

• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
