Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Part-time Pre-K Childcare Assistants for our Before and After School Program at Beekman Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. Shifts follow the school calendar with morning and afternoon slots from 6:30 AM to 9:15 AM and 2:15 PM to 6:30 PM, with potential for both.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required (or equivalent experience).
• TB health clearance is required in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
