Job summary

Battle Ground Academy's Early Learning Center is seeking an Associate Teacher to partner with the lead teacher in Franklin, TN. The role involves assisting with lesson planning, leading small groups, and supporting children's social-emotional development throughout a busy preschool day.

The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and committed to joyful learning, with a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and pass background checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with lesson planning and small-group instruction.
• Support daily classroom routines and programming, including large- and small-group activities.
• Provide one-on-one assistance and social-emotional support for children.
• Substitute for the lead teacher as needed.
• Actively supervise children during classroom time, recess, and lunch.
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues; assist with student records.
• Assist with morning care and material preparation.
• Uphold the school's mission and maintain professional conduct.
