Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the milestones of toddlers and young children.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting as required by the state of Tennessee.
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them prior to start date.

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM with a 30 minute break

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher to guide our energetic classroom of two and three-year-olds in Franklin, TN. In this role, you willcreate a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters cognitive, social, and emotional growth during these critical formative years. You will design engaging lesson plans, manage classroom dynamics, and build strong partnerships with families to support each child's unique development.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and cognitive milestones of toddlers and young children.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting as required by the state of Tennessee.
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them prior to start date.

Nice To Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field.
• Previous experience teaching specifically within the state of Tennessee childcare licensing framework.
• Proficiency with childcare management and communication apps (such as Brightwheel).
• Additional certifications in specialized early childhood methodologies (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia).
• Salary: $20/hour. Fixed salary ($40,000 - $48,000 annually) position after 6 months of employment
• Bonuses: Performance/seasonal bonuses in December and May
