Tutor Time Childcare in Smyrna, Georgia, is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Georgia’s Pre-K program. You will instruct 4-year-olds under guidance from the Lead Teacher, following licensing and grant requirements to ensure daily care and development.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree or CDA, experience in a licensed center, and the ability to engage children indoors or outdoors. Training and credential support are provided.

Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state funded educational program for all age eligible 4-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
As an Assistant Teacher, you are:

• Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
• Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
