Job summary

Sunrise Children’s Foundation in Nevada seeks an Assistant Pre-K Teacher to support the Lead Pre-K Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate activities for up to 15 children aged 3–5, including those with special needs. You’ll help build safe environments, track progress, and engage families in education plans.

Responsibilities include screenings, curriculum development, licensing compliance, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Must obtain PRE-K CDA Certification within 9 months of hire at your own expense.
• Experience with preschool age children in a center-based setting is necessary.
• CPR/First Aid training and Live Scan fingerprinting are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Pre-K Teacher in planning and conducting developmentally appropriate activities for 3–5 year olds.
• Develop individualized curriculum with the education team and families; conduct screenings and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to families; promote parent involvement.
• Ensure licensing compliance, safety, and a healthy classroom environment; participate in meetings and trainings.
