Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and either a CDA credential or be pursuing an Associate Degree in birth–through kindergarten, child development, or early childhood education. Progression toward the degree requires at least six semester hours per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA credential or pursuing an applicable degree.
• If pursuing an Associate Degree, must progress by completing a minimum of six semester hours per year.
• Related fields BA/BS listed: Birth–Kindergarten, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in a Pre-K setting.
• Support instructional activities and behavior management in the classroom.
• Follow district policies and complete required CBC background checks.
