The Goddard School of Sienna, TX is seeking a motivated and caring Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging programs and maintaining a safe, stimulating classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and pass required state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children’s development through active engagement and positive interactions.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting learning environment.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belonging.

• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment.
