Job summary

The Goddard School located in Fulshear, TX seeks an Infant Teacher to assist the Lead Teacher in daily care routines and developmentally appropriate activities. You will help create a nurturing classroom and manage safe, engaging lessons for infants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Experience working with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting
• Demonstrates empathy and compassion for young children
• Able to work productively without supervision
• Basic understanding of child development
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in handling children
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing daily care routines and activities
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean learning environment
• Supervise children and provide individualized support
• Assist in communicating with families about child progress
• Follow health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations

• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
