Constellation Energy Corporation in Baltimore is seeking a Pre-Journeyman - Plumbing Service Technician to perform a wide range of residential plumbing services and to promote the sale of all other company services to customers.

You will install and modify plumbing equipment, troubleshoot, read blueprints, and coordinate with teams while upholding safety and coding standards. This role requires advanced plumbing knowledge and a strong focus on customer service and sales.

Primary Purpose of Position

The Pre-Journeyman - Plumbing Service technician performs a wide range of plumbing services for residential customers and promotes the sale of all other services offered by our Company to customers.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Installs and modifies existing plumbing equipment according to installation instructions, supervisor instructions and all applicable county or city codes.
• Performs minimal service on steam boilers with supervision.
• Performs a wide range of plumbing services to include repair or replacement of faucets, toilets, domestic water lines and drain lines.
• Modifies and fabricates pipe fittings as needed per installation.
• Identifies electrical, plumbing and safety problems that apply to the installation and takes necessary corrective action.
• Performs clerical duties necessary to complete requests for service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of the tools and materials related to the plumbing service field
• Must possess advanced ability to read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
• Advanced ability in the usage of sewer cleaning machines
• Advanced skills in customer relations
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
• Advanced skills in sales with the ability to recommend and promote all services offered by the company
• Ability to work weekends and overtime
• Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license
• Must have held a valid Maryland Plumbing Apprentice License for 4 years, or for 2 years with a valid Journey Natural Gas Fitter License
• Must have completed 7,500 hours of training under the control and direction of a licensed Master Plumber, or 3,750 hours of applicable training with a valid Journey Natural Gas Fitter License
