Job summary

Pre-Flight is seeking a Production Artist to ensure artwork is production-ready for screenprinting and embroidery. You will review files, prepare separations, and proof stitch-ready outputs while collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Pixel-level attention to detail.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.

• Ability to follow processes and double-check your work.
• Previous screenprint and/or digitizing experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $18.00 Hourly

What You’ll Do

This is a technical role where you’ll:

• Review incoming art files for production readiness
• Prepare separations and production-ready files for screenprint
• Proof embroidery orders and prepare stitch-ready files
• Troubleshoot press issues (colors shifting on press, artwork not appearing as expected once printed)
• Communicate clearly with internal teams when artwork and/or orders need adjustment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail (seriously— pixel-level detail)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to think creatively when files don’t cooperate
• Ability to follow processes and double-check your work
• Previous screenprint and/or digitizing experience is a plus

You do not need to know everything on day one. We will train you. But you must be eager to learn and comfortable working in technical systems.
