Job summary

Fanatics Inc. in the United States seeks a detail-oriented Preflight Operator to ensure artwork is production-ready across the Fanatics Collectibles and Apparel platforms.

You will review artwork size, layout, colors, bleeds, and fonts before print. The role requires 3+ years in prepress/print production, proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and strong written and verbal communication to coordinate with design and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed preflight checks by validating content, imagery and design components are available and ready for composition
• Check the file size specs across imagery and design templates
• Verify color modes (CMYK, spot colors), resolution, bleeds, trim, and safety margins
• Assess project setup for composition
• Communicate file issues and required corrections clearly with internal teams
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
• Document project status within the job tracking system
• Attend cross-functional team meetings to discuss project readiness before going to production
