Job summary

Rosenbauer-America seeks a Pre-Fit Assembler to construct components for fire apparatus bodies and pump modules. You will set up and operate fabricating equipment such as shears and drill presses, read blueprints, and verify parts against specifications.

Qualifications

• Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books.
• Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Math: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, and Adobe/PDFs.

Responsibilities

• Fits all workpiece parts for bodies and/or pump modules.
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines (shears, drill presses).
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.
• Designs templates from blueprints to streamline construction.
• Maintains inventory and delivers materials to shelves.
